Russia says it is "drained" of "outlandish claims" by Washington that Moscow intruded in the 2016 US presidential decision.


American authorities, including active President Barack Obama, have blamed the Kremlin for doing cyberattacks against US political associations to help Republican competitor Donald Trump win the White House.

On Friday, the US knowledge group discharged an unclassified report asserting that the Russian government guided programmers to target different Democratic Party associations and agents to impact the result of the decision.

Addressing correspondents on Monday in the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin's main representative and helper, Dmitry Peskov, impugned the US hacking claims.

"These are ridiculous charges substantiated with nothing, done on a somewhat unprofessional, passionate level that is not really deserving of expert work of genuinely world-class security administrations," he said.
